Everything you need to know about TimetoTest
TimetoTest is an AI testing copilot that turns natural language into runnable UI/API tests, executes them (with screenshots and logs), and helps you triage results quickly.
You describe desired behavior; the AI drafts tests. Playwright runs UI flows, an API runner executes HTTP tests, and reports include screenshots, DOM snapshots, network/console logs, and summaries. Ask Mode lets you query runs and docs.
Web apps in Chromium/WebKit/Firefox (via Playwright) and mobile web via viewport emulation. Test any URL-based env (local, staging, prod). Native mobile/desktop apps are not supported.
Natural-language test generation, step expansion, selector guidance, failure explanation with evidence, follow-up refinement, and run summaries. No defect prediction or full self-healing selectors yet.
See the Prompting Guide for templates and best practices.
Open the Reports tab to see executions, statuses, screenshots, DOM snapshots, and logs.
Bootstrap coverage fast, generate and run UI/API tests, maintain and refactor flaky tests, validate PRs in CI, and analyze failures with evidence-rich reports.
Functional UI (web) and API testing, end-to-end flows, smoke/regression suites, data-driven checks, and basic timing metrics. It is not a dedicated performance or security scanner.
CI/CD via the CLI (run in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.), REST APIs, and a web UI. Version control is agnostic; use your existing repo and pipelines.
Scope tightly, seed deterministic data, use role/label-based selectors, and request retries with evidence.
